Cirencester - change of date

The date of the autumn 2011 Cirencester fair has been changed from October 2nd to September 25th due to circumstances beyond our control. Both the venue (Corn Hall, Market Place) and the opening times (10-4) remain unchanged.

The next two of this trio of new fairs will be held on Sunday 18th September and Sunday 20th November. The PBFA is very pleased to have a dedicated area within the Antiques & Collectors Fairs (managed by Nelson Events) and members will offer an as-always wide array of printed and other paper material.

PBFA Directory of Antiquarian and Secondhand Bookshops - 2011 edition

The new edition of this immensely popular publication is now in preparation; it lists all members of the PBFA who have a shop, or similar trading premises and will be available at the York National fair in September.

The PBFA launched an e-newsletter earlier this year. Each edition carries an update on forthcoming fairs and details of new members of the organisation, as well as any breaking news. It also has a link to an electronic complimentary ticket which can be printed and used at most PBFA fairs. We hope this will encourage visitors to our fairs where 'real' books, maps and prints can be viewed, examined, discussed - and purchased!
