Welcome to the PBFA

The Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association was founded in 1974, with just 20 members. It was set up to provide provincial bookdealers with a shop window in London by holding a regular book fair. More than a quarter of a century on we have over 600 members and organise around 100 book fairs a year.

Book Fairs

You will find a wide range of antiquarian, out-of-print and collectable books at all price ranges and on all subjects at a PBFA Book Fair. We hold regular monthly fairs in London and book fairs large and small all over the country.

PBFA Members

Members of the PBFA are experienced and reputable booksellers, with a wealth of knowledge covering almost every area of bookselling and collecting. For a detailed list of members, please consult the Dealer Directory.

Fairs Highlights

On Saturday April 26th the PBFA has two events on the same day in the same venue. One is a specialist ‘Natural History and Gardening’ Book Fair, the other is a ‘Sale of Secondhand Books’.

Both are to take place at Hills Road Sixth Form College about 1 mile south of Cambridge City Centre, admission is free, there is a cafeteria, and off-street parking is available nearby at Cambridge Leisure, off Clifton Road. Both events open at 10 am. and close at 4 pm.

Specialist booksellers will be exhibiting Natural History and Gardening items in their hall and in the Book Sale hall there will be many great bargains with books offered at up to 50% discount.

Leaflets and a map are available from the PBFA office info@pbfa.org
