The third impression. 8vo, pp. xix, (1), 432; page between title and contents neatly excised, however, (including series title) page numbering bears out (a printing glitch?). Green cloth with gilt lettering and bands to spine, and single blind rule border to upper board. Rubbed, light scuffing, edgewear, bruising to head and tail of spine and corners. Dusty top edge, tanned edges. Scant foxing at beginning and end, else, pleasingly clean. Number 3888 of 4500 copies. The third impression includes Ludovici's revisions to his original translation of 1910 (making this, then, the second edition proper).
