Limited Edition 1/4 leather binding with publisher's original decorative marbled boards and spine, gilt lettering to the spine and uncut page's edges. Limited to 550 copies on Verge de Mongolfier a La Forme, this copy has been signed & dedicated by the author to his friend Herman Finck - "Inscribed for Herman Finck by his friend Alfred Douglas, February 1932". A firm copy in good condition, with loss to the head and tail of the spine, that is also dry and with gilt faintly visible, scuffing to the boards' edges, browning to the pages' edges and slight spotting with a couple of marks to the top and bottom of the endpapers. Overall internally quite clean and fresh. vi, 61pp. Lord Alfred Bruce Douglas (22 October 1870 – 20 March 1945), nicknamed Bosie, was a British author, poet, translator, and political commentator, better known as the friend and lover of Oscar Wilde - Dorian Gray. Herman Finck was a composer, condutor & musical director at The Palace Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue.
