The Beatles Book Calendar for 1964

Published: Beat Monthly, London

Date: 1963

12pp (one for each month), 11.5" x 9", spiral bound at top with hanging hook, thick card back. Each page contains a photograph of the Beatles (9 in black & white, 3 in colour), a calendar for the month, a cartoon of the group and some astrological notes slanted towards the Beatles wherever possible! The dates from 1 January to 1 Febraury have been crossed off and 27 January and 1 August have been ringed. The front cover is bright, with two tiny marks and a hint of wear and there are 5 names written on the back cover. Overall a very nice piece of Beatles memorabilia - I have seen very few over the years. It would have been published late in 1963, the year in which the Beatles had their first hits with Please Please Me, She Loves You and I Want to Hold your Hand. Oddly, it was never re-published
