this is a very rare book detailing the proposal for building a new Canal near Stockton on Tees near the River Tees at Portrack, bound in an old half leather binding, with marbled paper covered boards, illustrated with a frontispiece map, 8.5 inches tall, 162 pages, with the armorial bookplate of a D. Crichton CONDITON the leather binding has some signs of wear, surface scrapes to leather on corners, worn corners and spine ends, small split to the leather at base of spine else binding is in good solid condition, internally front endpaper and blank reverse of frontispiece, the frontispiece has loss, wear and marking to corners, noticeable foxing to a few pages else main body of contents generally clean A GENERALLY GOOD EXAMPLE OF THIS VERY SCARCE WORK
