This is an attractive old Antique Manuscript Sea Chart Map drawn in Ink on Silk, being a copy of a map originally done by Captain C. Collins hydrographer to the King in 1685, of the River Dee Estuary and The River Mersey showing Liverpool, Chester, Mostyn Hall, Hyle Sand, Chester Barr, Point of Aire, Heswell, Oldfield Hall, Shotwick, Brombrough Poole, Flint Town and part of Flintshire, the map measures 22 inches by 17.5 inches approx., the map has some noticeable foxing spots and creases from folding else in good general condition. There is no indication of when this map was copied from the original, but it is certainly 19th century or possible earlier
