Post Mortem: An author solves the mystery of his own murder.

'Post Mortem' by Guy Cullingford is an excellent bibliomystery. Un-likeable author Gilbert Worth is shot dead at point blank range and his death looks very much like suicide. However, his troubled spirit knows that he was murdered - but whodunnit? A very clever twist on the tradition crime yarn. The dust wrapper illustration is particularly striking.

Date: 1953

The book is not ex-library but infuriatingly the original owner taped the dust-jacket into one of those old-fashioned protectors and it is very slightly cut down as a result. There are also old, light tape marks to the front and rear end papers. A decent copy otherwise and the jacket is at least very clean and crisp as a result. I only offer it here for its rarity; I have collected bibliomysteries for a long time and this is only the third jacketed copy I have had.
