A chromolithographed board game in three sections, approx. 43 x 30cm., folding and contained in the original box, chromolithographed image of mountaineer looking over at Everest pasted as issued to lid, rules in English and French pasted inside lid, complete with four metal pieces in the form of climbers, die and die-holder; minor wear to box, else in very good condition.

Note
This attractively produced board game draws directly on the Everest expeditions of 1921 and 1922. The players negociate the various hazards presented by Everest - crevasses, illness, blizzards, and accidents - with a relative safe point reached at the Rongbuk Glacier Camp (16,500 feet).
