Map of the Thames showing wharves, published by Bacon London circa 1933. Two maps bound together in stiff boards. Each map is on linen in 10 sections, size 54 by 35 cm. The first has a large map of the the Thames from London Bridge to Blackwall on a scale of 4 inches to the mile and a smaller map of the river from Teddington to the sea. The second has the title River Thames showing wharves, and has two maps, one above the other, the first the stretch from Woolwich to Tilbury and the second the stretch from Purfleet to Gravesend. Both are on a scale of 2 inches to the mile. A group of detailed maps in full colour. Good to VG condition with some fraying to the foot of the spine.
