Manuscript vellum notebook containing the receipts for Dividends paid to the creditors of Daniel WATERFIELD, hackneyman, chapman, dealer and stable keeper of Little James St., Holborn, London. The first five pages list the creditors in alphabetical order, and in red pen, number them in order of the amount that they are owed. The total amount is more than £9,500.00. there follow some 28 pages of dated, signed and stamped receipts for each of the creditors, who received 5 shillings for each pound that they were owed.
