267 leaves, including the Psalms, decorated head and tail pieces, initials etc translated by Fernando de Texeda at the instigation of John Williams, Bishop of Lincoln (1621-42) who paid for the printing. Texeda (aka T. Carrascon) was a Spanish protestant exile arriving in 1620 during the marriage negotiations of Charles I and Maria Anna of Spain.
