Baron Vidil on the mill - broadside ballad

Single sheet poem on the theme of Baron Vidil who attempted to kill his own son, he was later sentenced to 1 year's hard labour. The son was also sent to prison for a month as he refused to testify against his father. Printed on very thin paper which is mounted to part of an old album leaf by a circle of glue to each corner. The glue has browned and is visible from the front. Some creasing and light browning. Undated, circa 1861. The broadside measures approximately 25.5 x 18.5cm.
