Inner hinges strengthened, modern feps, some offsetting to verso of col plates, faint edge browning. The Appendix contains, charts, table of observations, meteorological journal, abstract of the Lyra's voyage, and a geological memorandum. There is also a vocabulary of the language compiled by John Clifford, Sentences in English and Loo-Choo, and a comparison between the Japanese and Loo-Choo languages. Folio, 211*267 mm.
