First edition, folio, xii, 101pp., folding map of the Ashby-de-la-Zouch coal field, a little creased and slightly torn at folds, 7 folding lithograph profiles and sections of three coal pit shafts (creased at folds and slightly spotted), the last profile includes the separate extension which is often lacking, 24 hand-coloured plates of sections of the Strata, 102 hand-coloured lithographic plates of fossils, cont. half calf, marbled boards, rebacked, corners bumped and rubbed through.
