We are delighted to welcome The Chairman and Club Correspondent, David Reid of The Robert Louis Stevenson Club to our Premier Book Fair this year.
The object of the Club is to heighten public interest in and knowledge of the life and works of Robert Louis Stevenson. This is pursued through a lively programme of events and excursions for members and friends, as well as engagement with schools, academic institutions and other bodies who share an interest in Stevenson.
The Club's very diverse membership is international, though predominantly drawn from Scotland, and embraces a very wide range of individual responses to R.L.S. It includes many well-known figures from the literary and academic worlds.
